INCLEN-Africa Mission

To improve quality and equity of health for the people of Africa through promotion of quality research, practice of evidence based health care, research capacity building and creation of strategic partnerships.

INCLEN-Africa Overall Goal

To ensure delivery of consistently high quality health care, both preventive and curative to the people of Africa through strategic partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, communities and health care professionals.

INCLEN-Africa Main Objectives

To promote and/or support the advancement of health research at all levels of the health profession for the benefit of Africa as a whole.

To promote and/or support education and training in Clinical Epidemiology, Health Social Sciences, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Leadership and management and any other training activities as may be necessary.
To Initiate and promote formation of new Clinical Epidemiology Units and Training Centers or other relevant bodies in Africa whose objectives complement those of IINCLEN-Africa.
To promote co-operation and partnership with health professionals, health care providers, policy makers, institutions and organizations on the national, regional and international levels to facilitate the achievement of the mission.
To ensure sustainability and capacity building of the network through active fund raising for the carrying out, furtherance and fulfillment of the objectives of INCLEN- Africa.

PARTNERSHIP WITH INCLEN-Africa

Promotion and strengthening of partnerships is one of the main strategies of INCLEN Africa. Partnership between organizations and networks that share common vision and strategies maximizes the reach of the networks and utilizes the experiences and capacities of the partners to achieve the common goals of health development.

INCLEN Africa welcomes partnerships with like-minded organizations that will:

Enhance the capacities of each partner organization through the utilization of uniquely trained health care professionals and researchers

Allow cross-fertilization and development of research methodologies and approaches.

Enhance opportunity for access to application of IT, which will facilitate speedier dissemination of higher quality evidence based information and efficient training programs.

Provide more efficient and effective delivery of health services to communities through their active participation in healthcare initiatives.

Facilitate greater impact on the evolution of national health policies and health systems in the continent

Intensify the advocacy for equitable health services and the application of research outcomes for the benefit of communities

Create a good mix of available resources, priorities and mutual interest to maintain sustainability of the partners.
